Subject: Old School in Da Burgh
Thought this show was rather awesome, and this recording seems rather tasty as well. I'm listening at work though, so I'll have to verify that once I burn it at home. The quality of the recording, if it's as good as it seems here, is even more amazing because I thought the PA wasn't top notch this night, like it was on 2/20 in Columbus.

Anywho, great setlist, especially the old stuff in the second set. Two Souls is fantastic. I'm always gonna be hoping for this one during original setlists and as fillers when they cover Dead shows. Seemed like a big night for John, especially on Tangled Up. And oh, I thought the crowd was very receptive from my perspective. Lots of cheering when the jams were kicking, singing the lyrics (that they knew - Two Souls, New Potato rather uncommon live, but hopefully that'll change!), love the shows in Da Burgh!!!

Subject: What a time!
It was my second DSO concert. First time was a fluke about 10yrs ago in Stamford CT. That's when I started listening to GD.
Have I ever been to a Dead Show, no, again didn't join the bandwagon until late 90's.
BUT, I am a huge fan and know GD shows and history quite well.
DSO delivered for me. Loved it, and will see them again. Thanks DSO, I am a fan.
Highlights were the screaming Passenger and hot TUIB.
BTW - Carnegie, wow what a place. Those who went, know.

The setlist was certainly creative. Not the most energy for a pgh crowd, but the unique setlist proved entertaining enough. The last guitar solo of the first set was enough soul movement for me.
